Romans 1:20 “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”
If God’s eternal power and Godhead are “clearly seen” through his creation, than we here in Eastern Idaho are truly without excuse. What great majesty, power and beauty must belong to the One who created the rivers, streams, abundant wildlife, forests of aspen and pine, the Tetons, sun, moon and stars.
Of all people, we should be most thankful and full of praise to the God of all creation. Of all people we should be the least desirous of vain and temporale things, finding our hearts greatest desire is God Himself.
The Heavens are Telling (The Creation)
Franz Joseph Haydn
The Heavens are telling the glory of God,
The wonder of his work displays the firmament.Today that is coming speaks it the day,
The night that is gone to following night.
The Heavens are telling the glory of God,
The wonder of his work displays the firmament. In all the lands resounds the word,
Never unperceived, ever understood.
The Heavens are telling the glory of God,
The wonder of his work displays the firmament.
For an example of God’s great beauty in creation check out these great posts by Lerrina on the wild flowers of Montana’s Centennial Valley.
It shows the sad state of men’s hearts when we can look upon God’s awesome creation and not fall to our knees in humility! Only the fool would dare to assume the wonder around us is but an accident. Praise God for His marvelous works!
